Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Thrivepine (“we”, “us”) collects through www.thrivepine.com, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Thrivepine is a Shopify agency based in Massachusetts, USA. If you have a question about this policy, email hello@thrivepine.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you type into it:

  • Quote form: your name, work email, store URL, current e-commerce platform, the service you need, and optionally your phone number and any notes.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, subject, message and optionally your store URL.
  • Migration checklist form: your email address and optionally your first name.

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Information sent with a form

When you send the quote or checklist form, we also record how you reached the site: the page you sent the form from, the first page you visited, the website that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you followed (UTM parameters) and, if you clicked a Google ad, the Google Ads click ID. Your browser keeps these details in its local storage on your device until you send a form, so we can see which pages and campaigns bring in enquiries.

We use your IP address for a short time to stop the same address from sending a large number of forms, which protects us from spam. It is not saved with your enquiry.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics, added through Google’s Site Kit plugin, to understand how visitors use the site. It collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, your device and browser type, your approximate location based on your IP address, and actions such as sending a form. Google uses cookies to do this. Google’s use of this data is described in its guide to how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

WordPress also sets cookies for people who log in to the site’s admin area. Visitors who don’t log in don’t receive these.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and talk with you about your project.
  • To send you the checklist or other information you ask for.
  • To deliver the services you hire us for.
  • To understand which pages, ads and campaigns bring in enquiries, and to improve the site.
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with companies that help us run the site and our business, and only as much as they need to do that work:

  • Website hosting: the site, and the quote and checklist requests it receives, are stored with our hosting provider, Namecheap (EasyWP). Messages sent through the contact form are emailed to us and are not stored on the site.
  • Email: form notifications and our replies pass through our email providers.
  • Analytics: Google receives the analytics data described above.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related emails for as long as we need them to respond, work with you and keep proper business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we have to keep it for legal reasons. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in our Google Analytics account.

Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction and deletion: email hello@thrivepine.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it.
  • Emails from us: if we send you anything you don’t want, reply and ask us to stop, and we will.
  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your state’s privacy law, such as the right to know, correct or delete personal information and to appeal a decision we make about your request. We respond to requests within the time the law requires and will not treat you differently for making one.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and quote and checklist requests are kept in a private area that only our administrators can access. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to other websites, such as Shopify and Google. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
